Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman has urged the team to raise their game following the runner-up finish at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.

Lookman stressed the significance of winning the upcoming friendly matches against Ghana and Mali.

The Super Eagles, are scheduled to play the Black Stars this Friday and on Tuesday will clash with the Eagles, both at the Grande Stade de Marrakech.

“We need to demonstrate the level of performance expected of us, reflecting on our AFCON journey.

“These friendlies are a prime opportunity for us to assert ourselves as a formidable team,” Lookman articulated, underlining the team’s anticipation for the upcoming fixtures.

“We remain a cohesive unit, filled with familiar faces and newcomers alike. The team spirit is high, and we’re eager to be back in action together,” Lookman remarked, reflecting on the team’s cohesion and unity.
