Leicester City’s midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is close to returning to action, after missing the last few weeks due injury.
Ndidi has been sidelined since sustaining an injury in Leicester City’s Premier League game against Burnley last Month.
The 24-year-old has missed the last five matches for Leicester City and Super Eagles’ FIFA World Cup double-header against Central African Republic.
The President of Nigeria Football Federation paid a courtesy visit to the player in Leicester and revealed, he’s closed to returning to the pitch.
“Ndidi has been integral, committed and passionate members of the Super Eagles.”
“The good news is that his second scan came out very good. So he has started training with the club and could possibly play in the next game.” He said.
Ndidi has featured in 31 straight matches for Leicester City from February to September.
