Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr is expected to start the same team who beat Iceland 2-0 for today’s make or mar World Cup Group D clash against Argentina.
The Eagles are most likely to stick with the more adventurous 3-5-2 when they attack, but quickly revert to a tighter defensive unit when they are defending their goal so as to keep at bay Argentina’s deadly strike force.
Rohr has kept to his chest what formation he will employ tonight, but he gave himself away at Monday’s official press conference when he disclosed both Mikel Obi and Victor Moses will play in the positions they play at their clubs.
Eagles Starting XI vs Argentina:
Francis Uzoho
Leon Balogun, William Ekong, Kenneth Omeruo,
Wilfred Ndidi, Mikel Obi, Victor Moses, Oghenekaro Etebo, Bryan Idowu,
Kelechi Iheanacho, Ahmed Musa.
