Super Eagles defender Zaidu Sanusi has been named in the UEFA Champions League team of the week for the matchday four.
Zaidu who plays for Portuguese side FC Porto was was impressive in his side’s win over French side Olympque Marseille on Wednesday.
The youngster scored his first-ever goal in the competition as FC Porto recorded a 2 – 0 win to edge closer to passage into a closer round of 16.
According to the team of the week named by the European soccer governing body UEFA, Zaidu Sanusi was selected as of the five defenders in a 5-3-2 formation.
The left-back joined Barcelona’s Dest, Gosens from Atalanta and the duo of Elvedi and Wednt from Borussia Monchengladbach.
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes was also selected for scoring a brace, Moncheglabach ‘s Stendl was also present, and Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich.
The attack comprises of Lazio striker Ciro Immobile and Martin Braithwaite of FC Barcelona.
