Super Eagles defender Zaidu Sanusi has been named in the UEFA Champions League team of the week for the match day four.
Sanusi was impressive in FC Porto’s win over French side Olympique Marseille on Wednesday.
The Left-back scored his first champions league goal as Porto picked up a three points in the 2-0 victory and inch closer to sealing a spot in the round of 16.
In the team of the week published by the European soccer governing body UEFA, Zaidu Sanusi was selected as of the five defenders in a 5-3-2 formation.
The left back joined Barcelona’s Sergiño Dest, Atalanta’s Robin Gosens and the Borussia Monchengladbach duo of Nico Elvedi and Oscar Wendt.
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes was selected alongside Monchengladbach ‘s Lars Stindl and Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman.
Lazio’s striker Ciro Immobile and Barcelona’s Martin Braithwaite lead upfront.
