Former Nigeria international Victor Ezeji has stated that players invitation to the national team should be form based rather than pedigree which is one thing that has been used many times in the national team.
Ezeji speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the current situation of inviting players on pedigree isn’t helping the national team as it affects the balance of the team.
He also said players of supposedly lesser countries would have no reason to be scared of players who banks on pedigree only rather than form.
