Super Eagles Forward, Tolu Arokodare continued his outstanding season by scoring his 20th goal of the campaign as KRC Genk crushed KAA Gent 4-0 in their Belgian Pro League Champions’ Play-Off opener.
The Nigerian striker, who has been in superb form this season, had an eventful night at the Cegeka Arena.
In the 23rd minute, Genk were awarded a penalty, giving Arokodare a golden chance to open the scoring.
However, his effort was saved by Gent goalkeeper Tom Vandenberghe, denying him an early goal.

Korean midfielder Hyeon-Gyu Oh further extended Genk’s advantage, scoring in the 88th minute before wrapping up the victory with a stoppage-time goal.
The dominant performance sent a strong message to their title rivals as Genk aim to claim the Belgian league crown.
Arokodare’s blistering form has been one of the highlights of the season. His 18 league goals and 20 across all competitions have cemented his status as one of the top strikers in Belgium.
