Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr says he’s expecting a tough test from Liberia and Cape Verde in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Rohr’s side will host the Leone Stars in Lagos in September, before jetting to Praia to enter Cape Verde four days later.
Rohr said the two games are important to his quest of reaching the Mundial in Qatar and can’t afford not to pick the desired results.
“We will be ready for the matches in September. ”
“We know we have to get positive results from both games, but it won’t be easy, because our opponents also have a good team.”
“We have to start well in Lagos (vs Liberia) and four days later, we play in Cape Verde.
“Our first two matches are very, very important and the aim is to win .” He said on Wednesday.
