Former Nigeria international Julius Aghahowa has stated that the Super Eagles have sent a strong message to many following the team’s back-to-back wins especially the huge scoreline recorded against Sao Tome and Principe under new national team coach Jose Pesieiro.
Aghahowa speaking in a chat with brila.net said the wins recorded and the manner of the victories where the Super Eagles came from a goal down to beat Sierra Leone and also scoring 10 against minnows Sao Tome who really haven’t been beaten as much in a single game will boost the confidence of the Super Eagles going forward.
