Super Eagles goal scorers at the World Cup since USA ’94 [See List]

Super Eagles legend, late Rasheed Yekini scored Nigeria’s debut goal at the FIFA World Cup in USA 1994.

That famous 21st-minute tap-in against Bulgaria was symbolic in the annals of Nigeria football history as it announced the Super Eagles of Nigeria on the world stage.

The Super Eagles have had moments of brilliance in front of goal over the years at the World cup, from that iconic outside-the-box strike by Sunday Oliseh at the 1998 edition against Spain to Kalu Uche’s long-range free kick against Greece in South Africa 2010.

The Super Eagles have scored 19 times at the World Cup from 1994 (bar Zubizarreta’s own goal in 1998 vs Spain).
