Super Eagles captain, John Obi Mikel has expressed disappointment over his non-availability for the Tuesday’s friendly against Serbia in London.
It would be recalled the Midfield maestro was included in the 28 man Super Eagles team list for this month’s friendly but failed to turn up due to a delay in sorting his work permit in China and thus missed Nigeria’s game against Poland on Friday.
in a statement via his official twitter handle, Mikel said he is “sad” and “frustrated” with the situation as he is set to miss Tomorrow’s game.
Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control I will not be on the field for our game v Serbia tomorrow. I am sad, and frustrated, but giving my full support to the team for another WIN! 👊🏿🇳🇬 #SoarSuperEagles pic.twitter.com/GE7eibbJtD
