NFF General secretary Dr. Mohammed Sanusi believes that the Super Eagles have the capacity to easily rise above their performance at the 2021 Africa cup of nations ahead of next month’s crucial world cup qualifying double header against Ghana’s Black stars.
Sanusi speaking in a chat with www.brila.net stressed that the AFCON showed the Super Eagles with a lot of promise.
The NFF scribe maintains the Super Eagles will excel having put in a good showing in Cameroon without some of their top stars and regulars.
Nigeria will face arch rivals Ghana in a home and away tie, in the final playoff round of the World Cup qualifiers for one of Africa’s five tickets.
Dr. Sanusi expressed strong belief that the team is good enough to secure the much coveted ticket for the 2022 FIFA world cup in Qatar.
