The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) announced that ten of the twenty-seven players invited for this month’s international friendlies have already arrived in Morocco.

One among the players currently in camp is Rangers forward, Cyriel Dessers, marking his return to the national team after a 14-month absence.

Dessers, who was previously included in Nigeria’s provisional squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, now earns a recall following his impressive performances at Rangers, where he has recorded 23 goal involvements (16 goals, 7 assists) in 43 appearances.

Also present are Alex Iwobi, Nathan Tella, and Semi Ajayi.

Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, has received medical clearance to join the squad after recovering from an injury sustained during a recent league match with Chippa United.

Completing the list of players currently in camp are Moses Simon, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Calvin Bassey, Jamilu Collins, and Bruno Onyemaechi.

The Super Eagles are scheduled to commence their training sessions on Tuesday, with the first session set to kick off at 16:30 hours local time.
