Sunshine stars forward Waheed Adebayo has stated that the Akure-based Nigeria Professional Football League side will not relegate at the end of the season despite the team’s current position where they sit 17th on the log to occupy the last relegation spot after Matchday 35.
Adebayo speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the team will continue to fight and ensure they make the most of the three games left to salvage the club’s topflight status.
He added that the Akure-based side has been unlucky all season and that the team’s current standing is not reflective of the team’s quality.
