Midfielder Chiamaka Madu is confident Rangers will pick maximum against Sunshine Stars in Akure on Sunday.
After a disappointing goalless draw at home to Lobi Stars last weekend, Rangers will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when visit the Akure Sports Complex.
The encounter will see Rangers go head to head against their former coach Gbenga Ogunbote, who guided them to the 2018 Federation cup glory.
Ogunbote’s team are yet drop maximum points at home this season and they will be hoping to build on last weekend’s success over Dakkada FC and make it back to back win for the first time this season.
“I think it’s going to be an interesting game due largely to the fact that we dropped two points in our last match while they got all three points in theirs away from home. We are looking forward to recover all the points we have lost,” Masu told the club’s media channels.
On facing their former coach, Chiamaka stated that Ogunbote knows what they are capable of doing.
“I think he is going to be the one that will panic the more because he knows what we are capable of doing and majority of the players that worked with him are still here and I know he is a very good coach and would prepare extra hard for this match. We are not going for a draw as we need all the three points at stake,” he said.
