Adebayo speaking in a chat with brila.net less than a week after former coach of the side Ogunbote resigned from the club said the team is lacking in motivation and players are unhappy over the current state of things at the club.
He added that motivation is at the heart of getting the best out of players but becomes difficult when players are been owed salaries of about 7 to 8 months and less for players who joined this season together with match bonuses.
“Our Government should help us to pay our wages, they have been owing us and they have been promising us and we pray they listen to us too while we do our own work and you know football is about motivation and happiness.
”If you’re not happy there is nothing you can do. We’re talking about 7 to 8 months salaries been owed and bonuses they promise to give us before our last match but as results didn’t go our way, we can’t even ask them.”
