Sunshine Stars FC of Akure technical manager Kabiru Dogo has expressed excitement as his side trounced champions Enyimba 1-0 in a match-day four encounter in Akure on Wednesday.
Dogo’s men picked up their first win of the season against the People’s Elephants thanks to Anthony Omaka’s lone strike.
The Akure-based side went in front in thetenth-minute through Anthony Omaka’s beautiful effortfrom the edge of the area andall attempts to get an equalizer by the Aba Warriors proved abortiveas they were condemned to their first loss of the NPFL season.
The result however delights the former Nasarawa United manager Kabiru Dogo who commended his players for a solid performance.
