Sunday Oliseh’s son Denzel to represent Nigeria over Belgium

Sunday Oliseh said his son, Denzel will represent Nigeria in future, despite his frosty relationship with the Nigeria Football Federation.

 

Oliseh, former Super Eagles captain was famously dropped from 2002 World Cup squad after fallen out with the then NFF board and the Sports Ministry.

 

He later returned to manage the team as a coach, but only lasted for few months due to irreconcilable differences with the led Amaju Pinnick NFF board.

 

The former Juventus man however is not bothered with his poor relationship with Nigeria’s football administrators and revealed one of his son, Denzel will gladly represent the country.


Denzel’s mother, Hafida is half Belgian and half Moroccan, so he’s eligible to represent Nigeria, Morocco and Belgium.

 

Asked which country his son will play for, Oliseh senior replied a Twitter user: “Naija” accompanied by emojis of thumbs up and prayer.

 

Denzel is work hard to become a professional football player like his father.
