Sunday Anyanwu Vows to Lead Östersunds FK Back to Allsvenskan

Östersunds FK has bolstered its defensive lineup with the signing of Nigerian centre-back, Sunday Anyanwu, who has vowed to lead the team back to Sweden’s top football league, Allsvenskan.
The 23-year old joins the Superettan side following his departure from Nigerian club side, Bendel Insurance.
The promising defender brings with him significant experience, having won the Nigerian FA Cup and competed in the CAF Confederation Cup during his tenure with Bendel Insurance.
Östersunds FK, currently competing in Sweden’s second-tier league, introduced Sunday Anyanwu to the fans at Jämtkraft Arena on Sunday after he signed a two-year contract with the club.
“My goal is to bring ÖFK back to the Allsvenskan,” Anyanwu declared.
“After gaining valuable experience in Nigeria, I am ready to take the next step in my career. The welcome I’ve received here has been incredible.”
