Bendel Insurance defender, Sunday Anyanwu has officially signed a two-year contract with Swedish club Östersunds FK.

The deal, which has been confirmed by both parties, will see Anyanwu continue his professional career in Europe after attracting interest from several clubs.

Anyanwu was initially on the radar of Kwara United. However, the 23-year-old chose to make the move to Sweden, where he will be plying his trade with Östersunds FK.

The young defender made a name for himself at Bendel Insurance with a solid defensive record and a goal to his name in the Nigerian league.

Sunday Anyanwu is expected to bolster his new team’s defensive lineup as the club looks to strengthen its position in the Swedish league.
