Stuart Baxter led Bafana Bafana’s in the first training session ahead of their June 10 clash against Nigeria in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Baxter, who resumes official duties in his second spell as Coach of the 1996 African champions, has picked 25 players for the match on Saturday.
The team is currently in South Africa and will arrive Uyo later this week but seven players, including Tokelo Rantie are said to be struggling with injuries.

In the meantime, as he gets set for his first major test, the former Kaizer Chiefs Coach had expressed concerns about the limited time he has to prepare for the Uyo game.
Before the training session commence on Monday, Baxter officially handed the captain’s band to Ajax Cape Town’s defender, Thulani Hlatshwayo.
