Stoke City secures the signing of Nigerian-born defender, Bosun Lawal from Scottish Premier League Champions, Celtic on a four-year deal.
The 21-year-old joins the English Premiership side after spending last season on loan at Fleetwood Town. He scored six goals in 46 appearances for the team and 42 League one games.
Lawal, looking forward to starting a new chapter in his career said, “The club is massive, it didn’t need selling to me, but when I spoke to Glenn Whelan and Charlie Adam, who coached me for Ireland and Fleetwood, what they said about Stoke City really excites me for my journey here.”

Bosun Lawal spent two years in Watford’s academy before joining Celtic in 2021. He only made one senior appearance for the team but participated in the pre-season games with the Irish team.
