Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard says he is satisfied with the performance of Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo against St Johnstone.
Aribo was impressive and assisted one of the Rangers’ three goals against their hosts in Wednesday’s Scottish premier league match.
The Nigeria international completed ran the midfield for the Gers and Gerrard lauded him for bringing his A-game.
“I thought Aribo really flexed his muscles tonight and showed he’s back.
“He’s had a real tough start to the season with a big injury – probably the first of his career – and then a bit of an illness which held him back.
“He’s gone through the gears in the last three or four weeks and he looks close to being back to his best which is really pleasing,” he said.
Aribo has scored six goals for the Gers this season, so helping the club to extend their unbeaten run in the league to 16 matches.
