Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung has dismissed claims he’ll open a probe on monies expended by the Nigeria Football Federation on last month’s International friendly.
Dalung denied any probe into how funds were spent on the planned friendlies in March, against Senegal and Burkina Faso but blamed mischief makers over the reports.
Though Eagles played against Senegal, the NFF had to pull the plug on the latter after visa issues stopped the Burkina Faso team from travelling to London for the match.
Speaking on the preparation of the team ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon, the Minister charged the FA to ensure Nigeria secured a world cup ticket and also pledged to support of the team.
