Director-General of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria under the board of the re-elected President of the AFN Engr. Ibrahim Gusau, SY Pepple has stated that the validation of the board of the AFN Abuja election by the Honourable Minister of Youths and Sports Sunday Dare hasn’t changed anything desire the minister’s insistent.
Pepple speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the Sports ministry didn’t start her recognition of one faction today and that the insistent of the Minister will change nothing at the end of the day. And hence he has said nothing.
“It’s the same thing nothing has changed, they have always recognized the other set of people. Since the 4th of December 2019 when AFN under Gusau declared autonomy, this has always been the case, they have never recognized the Gusau board so he has not said anything new.”
