Sporting Lagos has relieved Paul Offor of his duties as head coach, along with his entire backroom staff.

The decision made by Sporting Lagos management, on Wednesday, comes despite Offor’s team securing a victory over Sunshine Stars in their last NPFL outing.

Reports suggest that former Kwara United Coach, Abdullahi Biffo is the leading candidate to take over at Sporting Lagos.

Paul Offor, who guided the team in their NPFL promotion, lead tenure concludes with Sporting Lagos positioned 11th in the league standings, amassing a total of 38 points.

During his time in charge, he managed to secure 10 wins in 30 matches, suffering 12 defeats and settling for 8 draws.

With the team currently holding a slim four-point margin above the relegation zone, the pressure is on for the Noisy Lagosians to secure their position in the league.
