Rwanda head coach, Torsten Spittler says he’s satisfied with his team’s display in their 0-0 draw against Nigeria at the Amahoro Stadium on Tuesday.
With the result, the Amavubi extended their unbeaten run to eight games under the German coach.
“I’m very happy not only because of the result but also the way we played. It’s always important that you make a good match, and then I said normally the results will come,” Spittler said.
“Everybody could see this Nigerian team, especially the forward line, is world-class. We also had a few chances where you could see the difference between our strikers and theirs.”
Spittler concluded, stating his team was the better side considering going against a Nigerian side coming off a 3-0 win.
“It was a good match from our side against a very strong team, so I’m very happy with the result but also the way we played.”
