Chelsea came back from two goals down to beat Southampton in the early Premier League kick-off on Saturday courtesy of an Olivier Giroud brace and an Eden Hazard effort.
Before the match, Chelsea were looking to keep up their thin hopes of qualifying for the Champions League when they face Southampton.
The Blues visit St Mary’s sitting fifth place in the table as well as 10 points behind Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur having not won on the road in nearly three months.
Hosts Southampton played so well for the first 69 minutes and deserved to lead 2-0, but the Super-substitute, Olivier Giroud inspired yet another crazy comeback.
Eden Hazard got Chelsea’s equalizer before the French forward got his second of the afternoon at Saint Marys’ Stadium.
