Former Nigeria international and member of the Nigeria Football Federation’s Technical study group Sam Sodje has expressed strong backing for the sheer optimism of the incoming Super Eagles coach Jose Pesieiro after the Portuguese tactician stated via his official Twitter handle his desire to win Nigeria a fourth AFCON title.
Sodje told brila.net that the message from the coach is that of strong intent and one can only hope as a Nigerian that he truly achieves this target of winning the AFCON for Nigeria.
He added though that it won’t come easy for the coach and just need to be supported having clearly revealed his target as the incoming coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
