Striker Peter Olayinka has refused to rule himself out of Slavia Prague’s all-important Europa League quarter-final second leg clash with Arsenal.
Olayinka in a chat with brila.net said he still needs a couple of hours to will make decisions on he will feature or sit out of the match.
“I’m not sure ( if he’s going to play), I will make a decision on that tomorrow (Wednesday) or Thursday morning, apart from that, we are ready for the game.” He told brila.net
Slavia will take an away goal advantage to the game after playing a 1-1 draw against Mikel Arteta’s side at the Emirates stadium last week Thursday.
Should Slavia Prague knock out Arsenal, the Gunners will be the latest British side to fall to bow to the Czech Republic champions in the competition this season.
The Jindřich Trpišovský’s side have sent former English Champions Leicester City and reigning Scottish champions Glasgow Rangers out of the tournament.
“The game is very important for us and getting to the semifinal will be a very good achievement for us.” Olayinka continued.
“We are just focused and will put everything into the match because we might not have this opportunity again, so we are going into it with everything we have.”
“We’ve played several top games and we proved ourselves, but the teams still underestimate us, maybe the players and not their Managers, but by the time they realized, it would have been too late.” He concluded.
