Forward Simy Nwankwo failed to add to his goal tally on Sunday when Crotone travelled to Tuscany in to face Pisa in a Serie B match.
With four goals in seven appearances prior, the Lanky forward has been one of the driving forces for Crotone’s charge for promotion to the Serie A.
However, he saw action for 67 minutes in the 1-1 draw as The Sharks kept the chase with Benevento to within three points.
The 27 year-old scored a brace before the international break, but didn’t seem to catch the attention of Super Eagles head Coach, Gernot Rohr.
His last outing with the Eagles came last year at the FIFA World Cup in Russia, he has since been in international limbo.
