Nigerian forward Simy Nwankwo has completed his move to Serie A newcomers Salernitana on a permanent deal from Crotone, reports sportiv journalist Nicolò Schira.
Crotone, who were relegated from Serie A last season, have scared a number of suitors away as a result of their €10m asking price for the nigeria striker.
There were proposals from abroad, but Nwankwo want stay in Italy. Udinese were the only real contenders for Salernitana.
Simy will now team up with his compatriot, Joel Obi at the newly promoted Serie A side.
