Super Eagles winger Simon Moses could be working with another manager at Nantes next season, according to reports from France.
Current boss Antoine Kombouaré is unlikely to remain in his position next season following the embarrassing defeat in the French Cup final.
According to L’Équipe, Antoine Kombouaré lost the backing of the board after the 1-5 thrashing from Toulouse on Sunday.
The report stressed the board could pull the trigger if the Les Canaris lose against Stade Brestois on Wednesday.
Kombouaré is banking on Simon and his teammates to win the game to protect his job.
Kombouaré won the Coupe de France with Nantes last season, beating OGC Nice at the Stade de France in a tight, cagey game.
The club failed to build on that victory, they are currently 16th on the league table, only above relegation zone by goal difference.
The Yellow also bow out of UEFA Europa League in the round of 16.
Meanwhile Nantes is considering Jocelyn Gourvennec as a potential replacement.
