Moses Simon is delighted to play a part in Nante’s win over Nimes in the league clash on Sunday.

The Super Eagles midfielder lasted for minutes and played a key role as Nantes defeated Nimes 2 – 1 to secure their first three points of the new campaign.

Nantes started their 2020-2021 season with a goalless draw away to Bordeaux last weekend, but the team dug deep this time around to see off Nimes, despite finishing the game with nine men.

In his reaction after the game, Moses who was named Nantes player of the last season was excited with the win and praised his teammates’ effort.

“Great teamwork guys with the first victory of the season, 💛💚💪” he wrote on his social media handle.

Next for Moses and his teammates is a trip to St Louis II where they will be lock horns with AS Monaco.
