Sikiru Alimi joins Tunisian side Stade Tunisien

Super Eagles and Lobi stars striker, Sikiru has left the shores of Nigeria to join Tunisian side Stade Tunisien on Monday.

 

The former Warri Wolves and Sunshine striker signed for the Tunisian side after a successful medical.

 

Alimi is the only stand out player in the home base Super Eagles team that failed to qualify for the Championship of African Nations Cup (CHAN) back in October 2019, following his 4 goals haul in the qualifiers.

 

The 24-year-old has been prolific in front of goals since joining bis last club in Nigeria Lobi Stars, he scored 5 CAF Champions League goals last season and has also scored four league goals in the NPFL 2019/2020 season before his move to Tunisia.

 

Stade Tunisien are currently 3rd in Tunisian League table with 24 points in a 16 club league and he’s expected to help the Club compete for the title and qualifications for CAF competition next season.
