Shooting Stars vow to keep Enyimba, Insurance target Malomo

Shooting Stars Sports Club has vowed to do everything humanly possible to stop their star player Taofeek Malomo from leaving the club in the current transfer window.

Malomo, a playmaker has been tipped to leave the club before the start of next season, with Enyimba, Bendel Insurance and Akwa United jostling for his signature.

 

​The Player’s contract will expire at the end of August and a new deal hasn’t been agreed, meaning the player can join any team of his choice if the situation remains the same.

Shooting Stars General Manager, Dimeji Lawal, in a media parley in Ibadan, said the club will do everything in its power to keep the player.

“I want to assure you and all our teeming fans that Malomo is still with us and we will do everything possible to keep him,” he said.

“We knew we performed below the belt in the just concluded season.

“We have already commenced moves to have a better outing next season and I can tell you that with what we are working on, we will surely deliver.”

Malomo has spent three years with the Oluyole Warriors. He joined from National League side Joy Cometh.
