Super Eagles defender, Shehu Abdullahi who is yet to return to his Turkish club-side has continued to enjoy his two-weeks summer holiday in Nigeria and had a chance to give back to his fans and also encourage young players in his home state with his annual 5-Aside competition in Sokoto state.
The young players were mentored by the former Kano pillars players who expressed his delight of successfully occupying talented young ones “I’m excited we’ll have another program to engage talented footballers, our aims & objectives is to ensure Sokoto State produce more football stars for Nigeria.”

The Bursaspor defender who missed majority of Nigeria’s 2019 AFCON games due to injury is hopeful of being involved in the summer transfer activities “You know I’m still on holiday for about two weeks. So before then, I will know if I will change club or not. Very soon, you will hear” .
