Seychelles stars Alex Wawu and Gervaine Wayehive bullish ahead of Super Eagles clash

Seychelles National team stars Alex Wawu and Gervaine Wayehive has expressed their confidence ahead of Saturday’s AFCON 2019 qualifier against Nigeria.

 

Speaking in a brief chat with brila.net’s Chidozie Okoroji, the players admitted that the Super Eagles are a bigger footballing team than Seychelles but are adamant to conceding defeat.

 

Alex Wawu who spoke first expressed his confidence in his team despite the minor tag, the Australia-based player said they won’t be giving the game away to Eagles after losing their first match against Libya.

 

Meanwhile, St. Louis’ player Gervaine Wayehive also said he is optimistic ahead of the must-win encounter, “I believe in football anything can happen in 90 minutes,” the player told Overdose.

 

The Super Eagles will on Saturday take on the Seychellois on Saturday, 8th September at exactly 1:30 pm Nigerian time.
