La Liga club Sevilla has thrown its hat into the ring for Nigeria international, Wilfred Ndidi.
With Ndidi set to be a free agent next summer, clubs including Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, and Bayern Munich have already expressed interest.
Sevilla, making a strategic move have recently secured Leicester City’s Boubakary Soumare on loan for the current season.
However, rumors suggest that Ndidi may need to accept a significant pay cut to make the move to the Sanchez Pijuan stadium.
As negotiations between Ndidi and Leicester City stall on a new deal, the 26-year-old midfielder is expected to depart from the Foxes once his contract expires.
Despite being regarded as a player above Championship standard, Ndidi has found himself playing in England’s second tier this season, making 12 appearances in the Championship and three in the Carabao Cup.
