Super Eagles attacker Cyriel Dessers says he can not wait to start a new adventure with his new Italian side US Cremonese.

Dessers joined Cremonese from Genk in a deal worth over £6m and signed a three-year contract with the new Italian top side.

Genk announced the transfer via their social media handle this Wednesday, after reaching an agreement with Cremonese.

“It is always a dream to play in the Serie A, one of the illustrious leagues in the world. It’s going to be an exciting challenge, full of obstacles, but hugely stimulating. We need to stand together and front up to every battle, defending our colors. I can’t wait” He said.

Dessers signed for KRC Genk in the summer of 2020, after an impressive performance in the Eredivisie, with Heracles Almelo.
