Semi Ajayi gives Jose Peseiro Top Rating

Super Eagles CB Semi Ajayi says the team is impressed with new coach Jose Peseiro’s work ethic and everyone is learning new things under him.

Ajayi featured in Peseiro’s first two games in the United States against Mexico and Ecuador.

He’s was also named in the squad named by Peseiro for the qualification campaign against Leone Stars of Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe.

“He’s working with the boys and trying to implement his ideas on the team,” Ajayi said about the Portuguese trainer.

“Every session and game we played, we are learning something new and that’s what he wants from us and we good.”

On Thursday, Peseiro’s side will kick off their African Cup of Nations qualifying campaign against Sierra Leone in Abuja, and Ajayi says the team is determined to start on a winning note.

“We are looking forward to winning the game on Thursday and Monday. We are working hard. We approach every game to win, whether it’s Sierra Leone or anything other team.

“We know it’s not going to be easy, and we are are taking it seriously. We’ll listen to everything the coach has to tell us about his game plan and gladly execute it,” He told Brila.net .
