Super Eagles stars Ramon Azeez and Kenneth Omeruo squared up against each other as Granada and Leganes played out another draw on Monday night in La Liga.
Omeruo and Azeez returned to Leganes and Granada line up after sitting out of the weekend game against Eibar and Villarreal respectively, but Azeez only lasted for 45 minutes.
The game did not produce a single goal, but a total of eight yellow cards was issued out by the referee, four for both teams.
While Azeez made 23 touches, 15 accurate passes (88%), won 2 aerial duels and won the ball back 4 times, before he was substituted, Omeruo also produced a commanding performance at the back for Leganes, making four clearances, six interceptions, and had 100% success with his aerial duels, winning three in three.
The 26-year-old former Chelsea defender also had 49 touches, made 27 accurate passes on the night.
Meanwhile, another Nigerian on the book of Leganes Chidozie Awaziem didn’t make it to the pitch as he was left of the bench for entire minutes.
Awaziem has played a total of 21 La Liga appearances for Leganes since arriving on loan from Portuguese giants FC Porto.
Leganes are currently 19th position on the table and are four points away from safety, while Granada is in a comfortable ninth spot with 43 points.
