Winger Samuel Kalu has expressed his excitement after scoring his first goal for Enyimba few months after joining the club.
Kalu who joined Aba Elephants from Katsina United last month was on target in the 3-0 win over FC Diambars of Senegal at the Enyimba International Stadium last Sunday.
The former FC Ifeanyi Uba and Wikki Tourists star was introduced to the game in the second half and he sealed 4-0 aggregate win for the Finidi George tutored side with the third goal.
Speaking with brila.net, Kalu said it’s a dream come true to play for biggest club in Nigeria and scoring for them was just an icing on the cake.
“I’m excited about the opportunity with Enyimba. It doesn’t come often, because it’s a big club with huge fanbase and rich history.”
“To play for them is dream come true and also scoring for my first goal is another great feeling.”
“I’m happy about how the whole thing is going at the moment, but I have to keep working, in order to get more opportunities”. He told brila.
