Super Eagles left back Jamilu Collins has put pen to paper on a new a deal with SC Paderborn.
The Benteler-Arena outfit announced Collins’ extension on their official website on Tuesday after negotiations came to an end.
Paderborn Director Fabian Wohlgemuth said the club is delighted to tie Collins to a new deal and hope to see him continue his development at the club.
“Jamilu has developed very well in his three and a half years in Paderborn,” Wohlgemuth told the club’s website.
“With his strong performances, he has attracted the attention of numerous other clubs. This is another reason why we are pleased that he sees his other sporting home at SC Paderborn 07. Together, we want to further develop the existing potential.”
Collins joined Paderborn on September 6, 2017 on a two-year contract from HNK Rijeka.
He helped the club gain promotion to the German Bundesliga in 2019, but they were relegated the next season following an underwhelming campaign.
