Saudi giants Al Ahli Saudi FC are reportedly eyeing Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu, offering him an annual salary of €8 million, according to journalist Ekrem Konur.
The club has not disclosed the transfer fee they are willing to pay, but reports suggest Trabzonspor value Onuachu at a minimum of €10 million.
Onuachu joined Trabzonspor permanently from Southampton FC for around €5.6 million in the summer of 2025.
Since then, he has been Trabzonspor’s standout performer, registering 18 goals and two assists in the Turkish Super Lig this season.

It remains uncertain whether Onuachu will consider a move to Saudi Arabia.
Al Ahli, however, present an ambitious project: the club won the AFC Champions League last season and have already qualified for this season’s knockout stages.
In the Saudi Pro League, Al Ahli currently sit second, two points behind Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr.

Trabzonspor, meanwhile, are third in the league and remain in contention for a UEFA Champions League playoff spot or a place in the UEFA Europa League playoffs.
This summer promises to be one to look out for as Onuachu will decide if he wants to move to a fast-growing football market in Asia or stay in Turkey to compete in European club competitions.
His decision could have major implications for both his career and the ambitions of the clubs involved.
