Scribe of the Nigeria Football Federation Dr. Mohammed Sanusi has revealed that the pep talk handed the Nigeria U20 national team went a long way in helping the Flying Eagles bounce back from the disappointment of having lost the team’s unbeaten run of 19 matches following the 1-0 loss to Senegal to eventually subdue host nation Egypt 1-0 on Wednesday.
Sanusi speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said it was communicated to the team that Nigerians were not critical of the team after just a loss but are expectant of a quick response which the team gave in the victory over host nation Egypt to get the team back on course for progression to the quarter final of the U20 AFCON.
