Despite not securing a medal, Ogazi continued to impress with yet another sub-45 second performance. The gold medal was claimed by USA’s Quincy Hall, who delivered a remarkable sprint in the last 50 meters to clinch the title. Hall recorded a Personal Best of 43.40 seconds, surpassing Matthew Hudson-Smith of Great Britain, who led for much of the race. Hudson-Smith finished with a European Record of 43.44 seconds, earning the silver medal. Zambia’s Muzala Samunkonga took home the bronze, setting a new National Record with a time of 43.74 seconds.
