Samuel Kalu is excited about Katsina United’s excellent performance against Wikki Tourist in one of the 2020-2021 NPFL matches on Sunday.
Kalu was on target and created two other goals as The Changi Boys outclassed their visitors at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium.
The former FC Ifeanyi Uba winger scored his side’s fourth goal in the 64th minute, before setting up Rasheed Ahmed from the corner moment later.
Kalu has now scored four goals and recorded two assists for Katsina United who themselves scored 5 goals in an NPFL match for the first time since they regained promotion in 2016.
The Azeez Mohammed’s tutored side are also the 3rd team (after Kwara Utd & Nasarawa Utd) to score 5+ goals in an NPFL game this season.
“I’m excited with our performance, we really enjoyed our game and it was nice to contribute a goal and two assists”
“This is arguably our best performance this season, but we want to keep scoring goals and win every single game because we believe in our ability,” he told www.brila.net in an exclusive interview after the match.
