Super Eagles winger Samuel Kalu scored for Bordeaux in the league one game clash with RC Lens.
Kalu scored late in the second of the clash to reduce the deficit for Girondins Bordeaux who went down 2-1 the newly promoted Lens at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis on Saturday.
It was his first league goal since September 2019 and the first goal of the 2020-2021 campaign.
Lens took the lead through Cameroon forward Ignatius Kpene Ganago, before former Chelsea youngster Gael Kakuta scored the second from the spot in the 59th minute.
Meanwhile Kalu’s Super Eagles teammates Josh Maja also saw action for just nine minutes as he was in the 81st minute.
