Samuel Chukwueze made his comeback after a three-week injury absence in AC Milan’s 2-1 home victory in the UCL against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old Chukwueze rejoined training just last week after recovering from an ankle injury.
While he was included in the squad for the high-stakes match against Paris St Germain at San Siro, he spent the entire game on the bench.
Chukwueze has participated in nine matches across various competitions for AC Milan but is yet to score a goal or provide an assist.
Milan however dug deep to win the game and boosted their chances of qualifying for round of 16.
The visitors went ahead through Milan Skriniar in the ninth minute, but Milan mounted a comeback, with goals from Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud securing the win.
